I spent a whole quarter last year learning how to draw things in perspective. I drew cubes, spheres and cones away from and near to the horizon line. I shaded them for correct texture and proportions. I worked hard at making them seem realistic! So while drawing this strip, I thought, There goes all that training. C'est la vie! ;-)
How cute is Daisy? She's so excited that Gatz is home that she's forgotten how to open the door. I've had this strip in mind for awhile now. This is also their old residence. I think of it as a rented and secluded property somewhere north of Los Angeles, like Lancaster.
